President Trump ousted the State Department’s independent watchdog, removing yet another inspector general he says lost his confidence.
In a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent late on Friday evening, Trump said Inspector General Steve Linick will be of no more use to his administration and has been removed, effective 30 days from now.
