Buzz that Kat Von D is done with Jesse James may have been premature. Though reports claimed that she reunited with Motley Crue rocker Nikki Sixx — and even tried to expunge any mention of Jesse from her reality TV show — the tattoo artist and the celebrity biker were recently caught canoodling during lunch.
According to TMZ sources, the “L.A. Ink” star “freaked out” when she found out producers planned to air footage of her trash-talking then-ex-beau Nikki. Allegedly, the reality star insisted the show be recut to omit her vitriol — and that all footage involving Jesse be cut as well. Per the website, producers are scrambling to fill air time before the season premiere.
But wait. If Kat wants to edit Jesse out of her life, why was she cozying up to him Saturday? That day, the couple shared an enchilada at a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood, along with some smooches.
We’re kind of curious to tune in Wednesday to see what Jesse and Kat’s chemistry is like — or if it has indeed been expunged from the onscreen record. Then again, we don’t really want to give them any more attention.
Gaga For Luc
Lady Gaga may not have been able to upstage Katy Perry’s lavish wedding to Russell Brand in India, but she too is a pop star with matrimony on the brain.
The “Bad Romance” singer is said to have had a commitment ceremony with on-again beau Luc Carl on the Greek isle of Crete last week.
“It was their first step towards marriage. They both dressed up and said beautiful handwritten vows,” a source reportedly shared with the U.K.’s Grazia magazine.
“They then exchanged rings in a spiritual service and drank shots before sitting down to a lovely private dinner at a tiny restaurant.” What’s more romantic than doing shots?
The bartender and the diva, who first dated back when Gaga was still known as Stefani Germanotta, “wanted to show that they are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” the source said. “They are still planning to marry, but that will come later when she has the time to plan a big Italian-style wedding.”
“Since her beloved grandfather died last month, Luc has been her rock and she’s also had a reminder of just how short life is. She says he’s ‘the one’ and she doesn’t want to lose him ever again,” the source said.
‘Hangover’ Bellyaching
Mel Gibson is reportedly fuming over being cut from the cast of “The Hangover 2,” allegedly because cast and crew, notably Zach Galifianakis, disapproved of him. The scandal-plagued actor-director was cast in a cameo that promised to be a comeback opportunity, but the role was then turned over to Liam Neeson.
“He doesn’t understand why Mike Tyson, a drug user who turned his life around, was given a chance [to be in the film series] while Mel was kicked to the curb,” a source told Page Six.
Fair enough. Maybe if Mel proves he’s “turned his life around” since unleashing rage on the mother of his child earlier this year, he will have a second chance too.
