Cycle Across Maryland gearing up for 2009

A popular three-day cycling event in Maryland threatened in recent years by high operating costs is “gearing up” for 2009.

The eight-member board for One Less Car, which hosts Cycle Across Maryland, unanimously voted recently to begin planning for the 2009 event, but a date and place has yet to be determined.
