CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin remarked “Wow,” after the network concluded covering 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s speech Wednesday afternoon.

Speaking in Burlington, Iowa, Biden tied the president’s rhetoric to hate crimes and shootings that took place in El Paso, Texas; Charlottesville, Virginia; and Pittsburgh.

Following the former vice president’s speech, Baldwin stated, “Wow. You have been listening to former Vice President Joe Biden with an absolutely blistering attack against the president of the United States. The Democratic presidential candidate says President Trump is fanning the flames of white supremacy.”

The former vice president said, “How far is it from the white supremacists and Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville — Trump’s ‘very fine people’ — chanting ‘You will not replace us’ — to the shooter at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh saying Jews ‘were committing genocide to his people?’ Not far at all. In both clear language and in code, this president has fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation.”
