Senate Finance panel to hold first tax reform hearing next week

The Senate panel charged with overseeing taxes will wade into tax reform next week with a hearing featuring former Treasury officials.

Sen. Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Finance Committee, said he was calling the hearing to discuss “comprehensive” tax reform and to explore the “tough decisions” involved in such an effort.
