The body of a 24-year-old Virginia man was recovered Sunday evening from the Severn River, almost exactly 24 hours after he was last seen.
The Arlington man, whom officials declined to identify until his next of kin had been notified, was riding on a tube behind a motorboat near Lakeland Road at about 6 p.m. Saturday, said Capt. Adrian Baker, a spokesman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
