As American academia is increasingly characterized by “woke” curricula, replete with critical race and gender theory, third-wave feminism, anti-capitalism, and racial identity politics, more parents are concerned that its influence is trickling down to K-12 education.
This week, a new organization, “Parents Defending Education Dot Org,” launched its website. It aims to serve as a one-stop shop for parents who are concerned about public education’s tilt toward radicalism.
It allows parents who fear retribution to report incidents anonymously, to post videos, to seek advice, to organize, and to sue. Doug McKelway sits down with the president of ParentsDefendingEducation.org, Nicole Neily.
