Exxon Mobil’s new chairman and CEO, Darren Woods, supports the Paris climate change deal and wants the U.S. to take action to combat global warming.

“I believe, and my company believes, that climate risks warrant action and it’s going to take all of us – business, governments and consumers – to make meaningful progress,” Woods said in his first blog post since taking the helm of the major oil company.
