MSNBC has ended Saturday Night Politics with Donny Deutsch after just 13 episodes.
Deutsch, an advertising executive turned political commentator with a history of attacking President Trump, hosted the show on Saturday nights in a prime-time slot. The show premiered May 4, and it had an audience of 919,000 viewers for that episode, according to Nielsen Media Research. His audience shrunk throughout its airing during the summer. The program regularly beat CNN’s competing programming for that hour in total viewers but not in the key 25-54 age demographic, while it regularly got trounced by Fox News’ Watters World.
The network aired its final episode of Saturday Night Politics on Aug. 17, according to Adweek.
MSNBC aired a rerun of All In with Chris Hayes during its slot time last Saturday. The rerun was from the night before, when Hayes hosted his show in front of a live audience. They will continue to air reruns from Hayes’ show in that time slot.

Trump tweeted at “Little Donny Deutsch” back in June, calling his show “a disaster.” The president went on to say that he “hardly knew him, other than to know that he was, and is, a total Loser.”
Deutsch previously had a show on CNBC called Big Idea for four years from 2005-2008.
