BALTIMORE (AP) — A welcome ceremony is set for what’s being called the “Star-Spangled Sailabration” in Baltimore.
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will attend the ceremony Thursday in Baltimore.
More than 40 ships’ captains representing 13 nations are sailing to Baltimore for the week-long event celebrating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner.
