A New Jersey man was arrested on charges of discussing bombing Trump Tower and the Israeli consulate in New York City.
The identity of the man was not available, but sources told NBC 4 New York that he was expected to appear in federal court in Newark on Wednesday.
The man conducted surveillance on Trump Tower in Manhattan, where President Trump lived before he moved to the White House, and threatened pro-Israel groups in the U.S., according to the criminal complaint.
He is also accused of sending money abroad to help support Hamas militants.
A Louisiana man was charged last year with calling in a bomb threat to Trump Cafe located in the Manhattan skyscraper.
Trump Tower receives about two to three bomb threats every week since Trump was inaugurated, a law enforcement source told the New York Post in 2017.
