A Florida middle school is investigating one of its teachers over a test question that identified President Trump as an “idiot.”
A teacher at Watson B. Duncan Middle School in Palm Breach Gardens, Florida, gave students a quiz where one question asked them to identify someone who is the 45th president, a Republican, a businessman, and an “idiot,” according to the Palm Beach Post.
A student took a picture of the question and sent it to their parents. The parents posted it on social media and the picture went viral. The parents followed up the next day with the school’s principal, who told the parents in a letter that the test question showed an “unacceptable lack of good judgment.”
The principal also informed the parents that the teacher who created the test has been “reassigned” and that an investigation is ongoing.
The teacher gave the quiz as part of computer applications class with roughly 20 students.
