Halle Berry doesn’t seem to be half as sad about her split from Gabriel Aubry as we are. While we were still reeling from the realization that the world’s two most beautiful people will not be making any more babies together, the Oscar-winning actress was all smiles at a charity event.

“I can’t tell you how happy I am to be here,” Halle told the crowd at a breast cancer benefit run/walk Saturday in NYC. Though she skipped the red carpet (they have red carpets for runs now?), presumably to avoid questions about her breakup from her model beau, Halle was in high spirits as she co-hosted the event, according to People magazine.
