BoltBus adds Newark, N.J., route You can get to Newark for a buck on BoltBus starting March 24.
The company, one of several bus lines that offer inexpensive runs between New York and Washington, has established a second Northeast hub in Newark and will provide service to both Baltimore and Washington. All tickets for a trip between March 24 and March 27 are $1.
The new service will include four daily, round-trip schedules between Newark and Baltimore and Washington, Monday through Thursday, and six round trips Friday through Sunday.
BoltBus stops at the MARC Baltimore Penn Station and makes two stops in D.C., at Union Station and at New Jersey Avenue at F Street NW.
OPM heads to NoMa
The General Services Administration has signed a 52,000-square-foot lease for the Office of Personnel Management at 999 N. Capitol St. NW in the neighborhood known as NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue).
OPM will fill the space, managed by Akridge, under a five-year lease while its 1900 E St. NW headquarters is brought up to the federal government’s green building standards.
The agency will move into the newly renovated Union Square project later this year, joining the Internal Revenue Service, which signed a 100,500-square-foot lease in February.
IceWEB merges with Promark
Sterling, Va., cloud computing company IceWEB Inc. will merge with data storage company Promark Technology Inc.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
The new company will be called IceWEB but will be based at privately held Promark’s headquarters in Annapolis Junction.
Promark sells storage solutions to businesses, including IceWEB’s products, through a network of resellers.
SAIC wins $208m Agriculture contract
SAIC won a contract worth as much as $208 million to provide information technology services to the Department of Agriculture.
The McLean company said the contract called for it to provide information technology services to support Agriculture’s Risk Management Agency. The agency was established to help farmers and other producers manage their business risks through market-based solutions.
