VIDEO: Ad war heats up in Michigan governor race

The race to be Michigan‘s governor is heating up on the airwaves as three new campaign ads were released this week.

Democratic candidate Mark Schauer, the Democratic Governors Association and the Republican Governors Association all released ads this week across the state.

Schauer’s ad, the first officially released by his campaign, promises to lower taxes on middle-class families. The DGA’s ad hits incumbent Gov. Rick Snyder, R-Mich., on pension tax while the RGA takes a swing at Schauer’s plan for Michigan which calls for increases in education funding.
