NEW YORK CITY — For all the bright lights of the Big Apple, the largest wattage shone just a few blocks from Times Square on Thursday night when former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton descended on New York City’s Radio City Music Hall for a star-studded, money-spinning fundraiser for President Joe Biden.

The event presented both a risk and reward for Biden, who used the two popular, and younger, former presidents to rake in more than $26 million for his campaign coffers, while reminding the voting public of his own slumping approval ratings.
