Ro Khanna slams critics within Democratic Party: 'It's a great party'

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) pushed back against his fellow Democrats who are critiquing the current state of the party, claiming that “history” backs up that it is still “great.”

The Democratic Party recently came under the scrutiny of former Obama-era White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, who suggested that the party is now viewed as “weak and woke” in the eyes of voters. However, Khanna suggested that Emanuel is “dead wrong” in his assessment, suggesting there is still a lot about “the party of FDR” that supports voters.
