Abdul el Sayed, the Democratic nominee for an open Senate seat in Michigan, fired back at President Donald Trump for posting a photo that juxtaposes the first couple with the progressive candidate and his spouse.

The Truth Social post that Trump made late Saturday night showed Trump and first lady Melania Trump smiling while attending one of the three inaugural balls last year, compared to el Sayed sitting at a restaurant with his wife, who’s wearing a hijab. The post’s caption read: “Two VERY DIFFERENT America’s.”
