New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani appointed more than 400 people to 17 transition committees on Monday, including two top leaders of the Democratic Socialists of America’s New York City branch.

Gustavo Gordillo and Grace Mausser, NYC DSA co-chairs, will serve on the Economic Development and Workforce Development and Small Businesses and Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises committees, respectively.
