Biden’s former interior secretary Deb Haaland wins Democratic nomination for New Mexico governor

Former Biden-era Interior Secretary Deb Haaland won the Democratic nomination for governor of New Mexico on Tuesday.

Haaland secured the Democratic nomination over Sam Bregman, the district attorney of Bernalillo County. The Associated Press called the race with 17% of the vote counted, showing Haaland with 78.3% to Bregman’s 21.7%.
