Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of The View, mocked criticism of President Donald Trump’s abrupt exit from a “Meet the Press” interview, quipping, “Why is it every time they lose it’s election fraud?” in response to the president storming off from his Meet the Press interview.
“You-know-who … has had a contentious relationship with the media since he got into the White House, he used to love the media … but now it’s like a problem, and it was on full display yesterday during his interview with Meet the Press,” Goldberg said on The View’s “Hot Topics” segment on Monday.

Trump ended his interview with NBC while reiterating his claims that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” and suggesting similar concerns were at play in California’s primary elections, pointing to Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt’s shrinking chances in the race.

“You don’t have a lot of Republicans screaming that the 2024 election was stolen because Donald Trump won,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said. “[NBC journalist] Kristen Welker did such a phenomenal job there, and I would point out, she did not bring up the election in 2020 being stolen, the president launched into this tirade.”
“On the Spencer Pratt of it, I like Spencer Pratt — we had him here, he’s a nice enough guy. LA is 3-to-1 Democratic; Kamala Harris won it by 70%, it was going to be a victory if he even made it to the runoffs. That would’ve been like ‘Woah, he’s doing something incredible,’ that’s not fraud, that’s just how LA is,” Griffin said.

“The only time Republicans started having a problem with mail-in voting was when Democrats started to use mail-in voting,” co-host Sunny Hostin said.
