Colorado bishops ask lawmakers who support abortion rights to refrain from Communion

Bishops from across Colorado have asked Catholic state lawmakers who back legislation supporting abortion rights to refrain from presenting themselves to a priest for Communion.

The Catholic bishops called Colorado’s Reproductive Health Equity Act “one of the most extreme abortion bills in the country” in a letter sent to lawmakers.
