Crime History: Immigrant claims police beating

edited – ks On this day, Nov. 29, in 1998, a Cuban immigrant claimed he was beaten by two police officers in a Miami suburb.

The Hialeah, Fla., officers, brothers Rolando Bolanos Jr. and Daniel Bolanos, were sons of the town’s then-police chief. Yoel Pacheco claimed the two men handcuffed him and beat him in a parking lot.
