Police searching for culprit in McDonald’s robbery

D.C. police are looking for an armed robber who struck a McDonald’s restaurant in Northwest earlier this week.

At 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, the man walked into the fast-food business on the 7400 block of Georgia Avenue, displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. The man took the cash and ran.

The robber is described as a dark-complexioned black man in his 30s, standing 5 feet 9 inches. He was wearing dark-colored clothing, sunglasses and a black skullcap.
