Gunmen sought in 7-Eleven robberies

D.C. police are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the suspects in robberies of 7-Eleven stores in Northeast Washington early Monday. About 2 a.m., a gunman robbed the convenience store in the 1900 block of Rhode Island Avenue. He was described as dark-complected black man, 6-feet-1 with a thin build and in his 30s. He was wearing a black jacket, hooded sweat shirt, and carrying a brown handgun.

About 3:45 a.m., two masked men hit the 7-Eleven in the 2800 block of Bladensburg Road. One robber had a similar description to the robber in the first incident. His partner was described as a young black male, 5-feet-5 with a thin build and holding a silver handgun.
