On this day, April 16, in 2007, Virginia Tech student Seung-Hui Chogoes on a shooting spree at his school, killing 32 people and then himself in one of the worst mass slayings in U.S. history.
Cho, 23, killed two people in a dorm, went to his own room to grab more ammunition and left a note saying, “You caused me to do this.” He then mailed a video confession and manifesto to NBC News before walking to a classroom building where he killed 30 people in four classrooms.
