A man was wounded Saturday evening in Southeast D.C. after an unidentified assailant brandished a revolver and opened fire.
A police spokesman said that the victim, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital. The authorities are searching for a black male in connection with the incident.

Police said the suspect is about 5’8”, between 140 and 150 pounds and has a medium complexion and short dreadlocks. The attacker, investigators said, was wearing a ski mask and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
