NY awarding $36m in grants to help crime victims

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York has announced $36 million in grants for 179 community organizations, hospitals, police and agencies statewide for services to crime victims.

The grants administered by the Office of Victim Services are expected to expand the assistance network by funding 22 additional providers.
