One person was stabbed at a post office in Montgomery County on Thursday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred about 2:15 p.m. in between two sets of doors into the post office, located at 13217 New Hampshire Ave. in Colesville. The victim, believed to be an adult male, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to Montgomery County police.

A lookout was issued for the suspect’s vehicle, and he was stopped on Maryland Route 29 and detained, police said. He had yet to be arrested Thursday afternoon.
No post office employees were involved.
