A man has been charged with arson after he confessed to setting a blaze at a Silver Spring apartment complex that injured two firefighters and displaced dozens of people, authorities said.
Abraham Ogazgi Kiflu, 24, went to a police station shortly after midnight Wednesday and asked to speak with a fire marshal, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. During the interview, he confessed to starting the blaze, which broke at the two-story apartment complex located at 2815 Terrace Drive at about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
