Crime History – ‘America’s Most Wanted’makes television debut

On this day, Feb. 7, in 1988, “America’s Most Wanted,” the television show that helps law enforcement authorities capture high-profile fugitives, made its television debut. It is the longest-running program in the history of the Fox television network.

The show’s host is John Walsh, the businessman whose 6-year-old son, Adam, was abducted and murdered in Florida in 1981.
