CLINTON, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say an officer was struck by a car during an encounter with a two men suspected of forcing their way into a home.

Police say two officers fired at the car as it drove toward the officer who was hit and sped away. Both men inside the car were wounded by gunfire and were taken to different hospitals for treatment. The officer is expected to make a full recovery.
