3 guilty of murder, drug trafficking Three Manassas men have been convicted of killing a man they thought had robbed them of drugs and money they made in their drug-trafficking operation.

A jury in federal court in Alexandria found Marvin W. Williams Jr., 32; DeShawn Anderson, 20; and Freddie Wigenton, 21; guilty of taking part in a drug ring that distributed crack cocaine throughout the region and fatally shooting Kyle Turner in December 2006.

Turner had been a customer of the drug ring and the three men believed he had robbed one of their stash houses, prosecutors said.

Man accused of running child porn bulletin board

A 69-year-old Maryland man has been charged with operating an online bulletin board where members distributed images of child pornography and links to pornography Web sites.

The 10-count indictment against George Sell, of Cumberland, was unsealed this week in federal court in Greenbelt.

Prosecutors allege that Sell ran Country Lounge, an online bulletin board with 142 members, from December 2006 to August 2008. The Web site distributed links to sites depicting minors being sexually abused, the indictment says. Members also discussed how to obtain images of child pornography, according to the indictment.

Man dies from bike-crash injuries

An 82-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in a November bicycle crash, Fairfax County police said.

Police said Minh Van, of Falls Church, was struck by a 2003 Dodge pickup truck near Wilson Boulevard on Arlington Boulevard on Nov. 24. He died Thursday, police said.

Police said the crash is still under investigation, but no charges against the driver have been filed as of Friday. Speed and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the accident, police said.
