A second former player came forward with allegations of sexual abuse by a soccer coach from Takoma Park, Montgomery County Police said.
Authorities charged 38-year-old Roger Misael Fernandez with two additional counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of fourth-degree sexual offense. The second victim came forward after officers arrested Fernandez last week on charges that he molested a 17-year-old player at the Real Maryland FC Soccer Club offices in Silver Spring. The second victim, also 17, said he was sexually abused at a Gaithersburg hotel.
