A D.C. police officer shot at a man who pointed a gun, police said, but no one was injured during the incident.
About 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, officers were informed that there was a man with a gun in the 700 block of Tewkesbury Place NW, which is not far from Coolidge High School. When police got to the area, they tried to stop 29-year-old Rouchell Chesson, who they say ran and pointed a gun at an officer. That officer then fired his or her weapon, but Chesson wasn’t hit, police said.
