Authorities believe that one man committed two bank robberies in the District this month.

The first robbery took place on May 16 at the PNC Bank located at 4100 South Capitol St. SE. A man entered the bank, approached a teller and passed a note that demanded money and implied he had a weapon. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank on foot, according to the FBI.
