A 15-year-old girl reported that she was grabbed from behind and fondled Tuesday night in Springfield, and police are investigating to see whether this assault and three others are related. Tuesday’s incident occurred in the 6200 block of Hibbling Avenue at about 7:15 p.m., when the girl was walking. After she was grabbed, she pulled away and fled, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
