Weon, who owned the Parkway Pawn Shop at 5664 Annapolis Road in Bladensburg sold items through his website and at flea markets.
Bank records from Weon’s bank accounts show that the business took in $18.4 million in revenue from 2004 to 2008, none of it reported to the IRS.
U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein said the scheme was uncovered after federal investigators discovered evidence that Weon’s business bought and sold millions of dollars worth of stolen merchandise.
