A 23-year-old woman was groped in Springfield on Thursday, and officials said the attack is believed to be related to at least seven others in the area. About 4 p.m. Thursday, a 23-year-old woman was standing at a bus stop in the 7200 block of Commerce Street when a man grabbed her from behind. The woman screamed after she was groped, and the suspect fled, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
The woman described her attacker as a Hispanic man with a short beard who wore a black baseball hat, tan pants and white tennis shoes. The man was described as fitting the description of the suspect in previous attacks in the area.
