A 22-year-old man accused of burglarizing homes in Bethesda surrendered to authorities, telling authorities that he was embarrassed that his mug shot and case were featured in The Washington Examiner. Antoine Dillard, of the District, turned himself in to D.C. police Monday on warrants out of Montgomery County. He is the 35th fugitive from justice whose arrest is credited to The Examiner and its readers.
Dillard told investigators that he was not the bad guy depicted in the article and wanted to surrender, said U.S. Marshals Supervisory Inspector Matt Burke.
