U.S. Senator Mike Crapo has pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge in an Alexandria court on Friday, the Associated Press is report.

Crapo, an Idaho Republican, pleaded guilty to a first-offense DWI and received a $250 fine and a 12-month suspension of his driver’s license. He will also have to complete an alcohol-safety program, but he will not have to serve a 180-day suspended jail sentence as long as he remains on good behavior.
