Four high school students in Howard County have been charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder of a cab driver.

The Columbia Flyer cab driver told police that after he picked up the four teenagers on the night of March 1, one of them told him to pull over, and then one of the passengers attempted to choke him while another took out a handgun and threatened to kill him. The cab struck a tree, and the driver was able to escape and call 911.
