A 49-year-old woman was groped Tuesday morning in the Springfield area, and police believe that this is be the 12th reported attack in the area that was committed by the same person. About 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the woman was running along Blarney Stone Drive near Omega Court when a man ran up behind her and fondled her. The woman struck her attacker with her hand, and he fled, Fairfax County police officials said.
