A Prince George’s County man has been arrested and charged in the armed robbery of a Popeye’s Chicken Restaurant in Mitchellville. On Nov. 4, two men walked into the fast-food restaurant, located in the 12100 block of Central Avenue. They pulled out handguns and ordred two store employees to open the safe and place the money into a bag that the suspects provided. After taking the money, the suspects forced the employees into the walk-in freezer.
Curtis Lamar Ford, 28, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery. The second suspect remains at large.
