John Wesley Jeffries, the Fredericksburg man wanted as a “person of interest” in the killing of a Fauquier County couple, has been captured, police said.

Law enforcement members in the area were watching the home of a female friend of Jeffries in Fredericksburg on Wednesday, when they spotted the 60-year-old fugitive about 4 p.m. He was quickly arrested.
