Prince George’s County police are looking for the person responsible for three armed robberies at a Lanham automated teller machine.
Police said the same man is suspected in three robberies at the ATM, located at the Chevy Chase Bank on the 10600 block of Greenbelt Road. One robbery was reported in June, one in July and one in September.
In each incident, the man approached the victim with a handgun immediately after the person had withdrawn money, police said. The man demanded money and fled on foot after obtaining it. All the robberies occurred between 9:30 and 11 p.m.
The suspect is described as a black man who is about 20 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. – Emily Babay
