Three more bloodhounds are going to work for Maryland police agencies.
The three dogs and their handlers are graduating Wednesday from the Maryland State Police training school.
Bloodhound Red and handler Senior Trooper David Yates will be assigned to the state police’s Cumberland Barrack. Tallulah and handler Trooper First Class Melissa Bender will work for the Glen Burnie Barrack. Tayaut and handler Cpl. Donald Smith will join the Prince George’s County police.
Police use bloodhounds to track suspects and in searches for missing people. Nineteen bloodhounds are working throughout Maryland, authorities said.
