Amazon Prime’s The Boys has added a disclaimer to its season four finale, which had originally been titled “Assassination Run.”
The show, based on the comic book line of the same name, is a satire of the political climate within the United States, and released its season finale Thursday, five days after the attempted assassination against former President Donald Trump. The disclaimer included at the start of the finale underscores that the show is a satire of political violence, which some viewers “may find disturbing” after Saturday’s historic event.
