Saturday Night Live attempted to cast doubt over President Donald Trump‘s statement on taxpayer-funded experiments on transgender mice, which he sourced from a Washington Examiner investigation.
SNL cast member James Austin Johnson put on his Trump impression again for the comedy sketch show’s cold open. The skit revolved around the moments before Trump gave his first speech to Congress of his second term. Johnson made mention of the Department of Government Efficiency, created and named by Trump senior advisor Elon Musk, which Trump cited for uncovering animal experiments.
