Texas state Rep. James Talarico (D) is sending “love” back to Pastor Brooks Potteiger, after the pastor made controversial comments insinuating Talarico is not a born-again Christian.

The Texas Democratic U.S. Senate candidate responded with a post on X: “Jesus loves. Christian Nationalism kills. You may pray for my death, Pastor, but I still love you. I love you more than you could ever hate me.”
